ONE YEAR TO SERVE

Today I´ve been thinking what am I doing here. What´s my purpose here, it seems nobody wants to listen about God, that is boring stuff... some days I feel quite useful, other days I struggle to find my mission. Probably because I´m not really convinced of my mission! but yeah, God takes care of that for me, He reminded me, again, that is only about little meaningful things: smile, say "yes you can" or "you did great", ask "how are you today", show kindness, be patient, accept I can´t change others just because they should, but I can be a good friend to them.
Here is something I read today in the adventist volunteer magazine. It made me think of friends who want to become missionaries, and it motivated me to have a different approach towards my job.

One year for the Lord is your decision
One year to share the Gospel commission
One year as a teacher in a land far away
One year away from friends and family to stay

One year in the classroom teaching little girls and boys
One year sing, dance and play with puppets and toys
One year to see the light of understanding grow
One year to lead them and their path to show.

One year with adult students to meet
One year to lead them to the Master`s feet
One year a life time of friendships to make
One year lots of memories to take.

One year and your life will be changed
One year your old self for a new self exchanged
One year of hills and valleys and such things
One year of knowing the joy overcoming brings.

One year of being led by the Master`s hand
One year of knowing He had it all planned
One year for you in the country you chose
One year perhaps two (perhaps 3 is my case), only God knows.

Una Relación profunda

Toda persona anhela darse a si misma completamente a alguien, tener una relación profunda del alma con otra, ser amada completa y exclusivamente.

Pero Dios le dice al cristiano: No, no hasta que estés satisfecho, completo y contento con ser amado por mí solamente, con darte a ti mismo totalmente y sin reservas a mí, con tener una relación intensamente personal e inigualable, conmigo solamente, descubriendo que sólo en mí se encuentra tu satisfacción. Sólo entonces serás capaz de la perfecta relación humana que yo había planeado para ti.

Nunca te unirás a otra persona hasta que estés unido conmigo, reservado de cualquier otra persona o cosa, reservado de cualquier otro deseo o anhelo, quiero que dejes de planear, que dejes de anhelar, y me permitas darte el plan más emocionante que existe, uno que ni te imaginas.

Quiero que tengas lo mejor; por favor permíteme conseguirlo para ti, sólo mantente observándome, esperando las más grandes cosas; mantente experimentando la satisfacción que Yo soy, mantente escuchando y aprendiendo las cosas que te digo.

Tan solo espera, eso es todo. No estés ansioso. No te angusties. No mires alrededor, a las cosas que otros han conseguido, o que yo les he dado.

No mires las cosas que piensas que necesitas, tan sólo deja de hacerlo y mira hacia mí, o pasarás por alto lo que quiero mostrarte. Y entonces cuando estés listo, te sorprenderé con un amor mucho más maravilloso y emocionante que el que alguna vez soñaste.

¿Te das cuenta? Hasta que tú estés listo y hasta que la persona que yo te tengo para ti esté lista. (Yo estoy trabajando aún en este momento para prepararlos a ambos al mismo tiempo).

Hasta que ambos estén satisfechos exclusivamente conmigo, y la vida que les he preparado, no serán capaces de experimentar el amor, que ejemplifica tu relación conmigo; así es el amor perfecto.

Y querido, yo quiero que tengas el amor más maravilloso, quiero que veas en la carne un retrato de tu relación conmigo. Y disfrutes material y concretamente la eterna unión de belleza, perfección y amor que te ofrezco conmigo mismo. Comprende que te amo cabalmente, yo soy Dios. Créelo y satisfácete.

Equivocarse...

No se equivoca el río cuando, al encontrar una montaña en su camino,retrocede para seguir avanzando hacia el mar.

No se equivoca la semilla cuando muere en el surco para hacerse planta.

Se equivoca la que por no morir bajo la tierra, renuncia a la vida.

No se equivoca el hombre que ensaya por distintos caminos para alcanzar su meta.

Se equivoca el que por temor a equivocarse no camina.
